                                                      ATTENTION TO ALL STUDENTS:

EOPS counselors and staff are still available to serve you and will be working remotely during this time.

For assistance, our operating department phone/email hours will be
Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

What is Project RESTART?

Project Restart is a program committed to support students who have been impacted by incarceration.


WHAT are Project reStart Services?

  • Academic/Personal and Career Counseling.
  • Student-centered workshops
  • Referrals to on and off-campus resources. 
  • Advocacy for students
  • School supplies and bookstore cards (based on available funding)
  • Safe and welcoming personalized support

What are project ReStart Requirements?

  • Be enrolled at San Diego Mesa College.
  • Identify as a student who has been affected by incarceration.

OTHER RESOURCES

  • San Diego Clean Slate Clinic is a volunteer-driven and community-based organization that provides free post-conviction legal assistance to individuals who continue to be affected by the criminal justice system.
  • 2-1-1 is a free and confidential service that helps people across the U.S. and in many parts of Canada find local resources they need. It is a 24 hours a day, seven days a week hub of information.
